You will get to see the solutions from end to end. From working closely with business stakeholders to elicit requirements, to seeing how our clients use the data product and get value from it.
You will be part of collaborative teams, playing a hands-on role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and managing data-led solutions.
You will be guided by our Delivery Leads to master multi-disciplinary delivery methods – from Agile Scrum and Agile Kanban to CI/CD and DevOps.

Key responsibilities of the role
The core mission of the Data Science Engineer at Ignite is to ensure that we deliver what we promise.
It is the responsibility of the role to:
- Capture and translate customer requirements into hypotheses, data models and analytics assets
- Design, build, test and deploy in line with Ignite delivery frameworks
- Apply and evaluate appropriate modelling techniques based on the opportunity and capabilities available
- Proactively identify and provide recommendations to address blockers

You have experience in delivering at least one data project end-to-end. Articulating involvement in requirements, design, development and deploy.
You have experience with cloud technologies. Specific experience in Databricks and Azure preferred.
You have coding and software engineering experience. Developing with Spark, Python, R and CI/CD toolsets.
You focus on articulating business benefit or outcomes of project experience.
Consulting experience or experience with end-users preferred.
