National Business Development Manager

The Role

This is your opportunity to lead the charge around the country as Ignite’s National Business Development Manager!

In simple terms, you’ll be selling Data and Analytics services to the Energy sector. So, that’ll entail:

  • Driving New Business Revenue: Ensuring Ignite meets its new business revenue targets by engaging with both new and existing clients;
  • Strategic Account Management: Planning and proactively managing client accounts to foster long-term relationships and business growth;
  • Sales Leadership – Leading, guiding and mentoring your own BDR;
  • Sales Cycle Management: Skillfully planning and actively managing sales cycles within the CRM system, maintaining a strategic approach;
  • Exemplifying Sales Excellence: Serving as a role model by demonstrating sales competencies and behaviours that drive success;
  • CRM Maintenance: Keeping records up-to-date in the CRM system, guaranteeing accurate forecasting and meeting reporting requirements; and
  • Sales Activity Planning: Strategically planning and managing sales activities to maximise effectiveness and results.

The Requirements

Well, you’ll more than likely have 5+ years’ experience selling Data and Analytics services – even better if that’s been to the utilities, energy, or agriculture sectors. That, and people are likely to describe you as:
